People in Human Resource Management and Development provide the core of the membership. The DPI encourages and provides opportunities for members to network and aims therefore to promote an open and friendly atmosphere with a focus on HR issues.
Members come from large, medium and small organisations in the private, public and voluntary sectors.
The DPI is run on a not for profit basis and is self financing. Any financial gains through bank interest are donated to local charities.
Membership subscriptions are made at the corporate level and this entitles any members of staff to attend seminars and group meetings.
We work to a formal constitution. An elected management committee meets monthly to run day to day affairs and to oversee the group and seminar programme.
